F2Pool Announcement | PASC is about to have a hard fork

Dear F2Pool miners:

PASC (Pascal Coin) will undergo a hard fork upgrade at block height 378,000, and the estimated upgrade time is around 4:00 am on December 13, 2019, Beijing time.

This hard fork upgrade will upgrade the PASC algorithm from RandomHash to RandomHash2, and it is expected that no forked coins will be generated. Miners are requested to manually restart the software after the hard fork to adapt to the new algorithm.

Notice

After the hard fork, the new algorithm is not friendly to GPU mining, and it is recommended to use CPU mining;

After the hard fork, the mining software needs to be restarted to enable the new algorithm;

Poloniex exchange no longer supports PASC. Currently, Vite wallet (http://vite.org/zh) and TOKOK exchange (https://www.tokok.com/) support PASC and can be used as an option.
