PASC (Pascal Coin) is a completely original cryptocurrency with a groundbreaking new technology - Safebox. It is the first cryptocurrency to break the 100 transactions per second barrier. PASC's architecture is original in terms of large-scale smart contracts in the form of second-layer protocols. It is written in Pascal language and has the characteristics of anti-double spending, non-ICO, and no pre-mining. Its operating mechanism is similar to a bank account, and the wallet address is short and easy to remember.

PASC will undergo a hard fork at block height 378,000 (expected at 4:00 am on December 13, 2019), and the algorithm will be upgraded to RandomHash 2. Currently, PASC only supports CPU and GPU mining. CPU mining is more efficient, and even a 1080ti is less powerful than an i3 (CPU), so it is not recommended to use GPU to mine PASC.

2. Get the wallet address

F2Pool, currently PASC mining uses anonymous mining. To obtain mining income, you need to prepare a wallet address first.

TOKOK, ViteX and other exchanges all support PASC deposit and trading.

3. Third-party wallets

Vite Wallet. Add the asset "PASC", enter the "PASC" asset, click "Cross-chain transfer", click "Next", and use the generated PASC wallet address (Payload can be filled in or not).

Notice:

1. The regulatory policies of various countries and regions on exchanges are not unified, and the relevant risks are borne by the miners themselves. Some websites provide Payload in addition to the wallet address, which is similar to the payment ID. It is different from the local wallet setting when the mining software is set up. The format is: wallet address.payload.miner number, where payload must be a 16-digit hexadecimal string.

2. The mining pool does not support the PASC wallet address provided by Q Network (QBTC) and cannot be used to receive mining income.

3. Get mining software

The F2Pool version has created a configuration file for miners. The default mining pool is F2Pool. You only need to replace the wallet address and PaymentID in the configuration parameters with your own and save the settings.

4. Set parameters and start mining

Nanominer mining settings:

Download Nanominer from the above link, select "Extract files to current folder", and find the "config" file, as shown below:

Right-click "start.bat" and select "Edit". In the "config" file, set the parameters as follows:

In the same LAN as the mining machine, open the management computer, use the IP report tool provided by the mining machine to find the mining machine IP address, enter the mining machine IP address in the browser address bar, and enter the mining machine backend to set the following information:

Among the above parameters, pay special attention to several parameters:

wallet_address: Fill in your PASC wallet address

Payload: The payload provided by the exchange. If you use a local wallet address, set paymentID = 0

worker_name: the miner number, which is used to name the machine. You can customize it by using a number or a combination of letters.

pool1: fill in the mining pool address, pasc.f2pool.com:15555

After the mining parameters are set, it will look like the following figure:

Save and close the file, then double-click to run the "nanominer" file to start mining.

It should be noted that the software does not support automatic switching to the new algorithm, and the mining software needs to be manually restarted after the PASC fork.

4. Mining machine monitoring and profit viewing methods

After the machine runs for a while and submits data to the mining pool, you can check the operating status and revenue of the mining machine.

You can view it by visiting the F2Pool official website, entering the wallet address in the search bar in the upper right corner (if the wallet address set during mining contains the payment Payload, enter: wallet address.Payload), and click "View" to view the mining machine status and revenue.

You can also log in to the F2Pool mobile app to view it, select "Quick View" on the login page, enter the wallet address (if the wallet address set during mining contains the payment Payload, enter: Wallet Address.Payload) select PASC as the currency, and log in.
