Purple on the face

Purple when it appears on the four corners of the face (i.e. the forehead, the tip of the nose, and the cheekbones) is the color of immortality; green is the color of Yin.

When a person's skin color turns (cyanosis), it is often the first sign of (cyanosis). It is mainly caused by abnormal levels of acid or oxygen in the blood. When the heart's blood circulation system is poor, the respiratory organs are injured, or there are changes in the blood itself, the skin will show this color. The parts of the body where blue is most likely to appear are the lips, fingernails, toes, ears, cheeks, tip of the nose, etc., among which the lips have the highest appearance rate.

Dark brown on the face

Those that are as black as bird feathers are alive; those that are as black as soot and as black as oil are dead.

Human skin and mucous membranes (such as oral mucosa) sometimes turn dark brown, and special attention should be paid at this time. Representative diseases include kidney disease, cirrhosis, cancer, and more special ones include silver acid poisoning. The skin will turn dark brown, and in cirrhosis, even the back of the hands, forearms, and neck will appear this color, and the color will deepen as the disease worsens.

Yellow on the face

If it is yellow like crab roe, it is alive; if it is yellow like plum or apricot, it is alive; if it is yellow like the color of earth, it is dead.

The skin color of Chinese people is originally yellow-white, so when the skin turns yellow, it is often overlooked unless special attention is paid. The skin, mucous membranes, and sclera of the eyeballs all appear yellow, which is caused by the presence of a large amount of bilirubin in the blood, namely (jaundice), which is generally a disease caused by liver abnormalities. This yellow color can be easily identified by observing it under sunlight during the day. It is often difficult to detect at night or under fluorescent lights.

Pale face

Those that are green like emerald green are alive; those that are green like indigo and green like weeds are dead. Those that are white and oily are alive; those that are white like dry bones are dead; those that are white like snow are alive; those that are white like dust and dirt are dead.

The skin color becomes unusually white due to the influence of melanin. When the skin appears unusually white, it can be detected immediately. Albinism is often congenital, but there are still many patients with white spots. When white spots occur suddenly, it is caused by the reduction of melanin and the loss of skin pigmentation.

The face appears pale, which may occur in cases of anemia, mental stress, exhaustion, major disappointment or setbacks. Generally speaking, pale complexion caused by anemia is often overlooked.

Redness on the face

Those that are red like a rooster's comb are alive; those that are red like blood clots are dead.

The face turns red when there is fever, humiliation, anger, or mental excitement. Fever is the most important. The symptoms are red face and moist and shiny eyes. This is caused by the accelerated blood activity in the skin. In addition, polycythemia can also cause this appearance, but the face color is almost dark red. A person with a fiery red face and blue dots in the pores, as well as red silk lines, is called fire smoke, which means the owner is about to face disaster.

A dark and yellow complexion indicates irregular menstruation; a red face with blue spots, white lips and yellow pupils indicates beware of a stroke. If the skin is dry and the blood is weak, the owner will die within a year. Red cheeks in tuberculosis are called peach blossom spasm, which is fatal; it is the same as malnutrition and tuberculosis in children. If a patient lies prone, it means life; if an ordinary person lies prone, it means death. The complexion of ordinary people is often dark, but suddenly it becomes bright and the time of death is approaching. Chang Ming suddenly died in secret. A patient who is seriously ill but suddenly improves in complexion will die. This means that the remaining lamp has regained its light. The patient's complexion suddenly changed from dull and dark to radiant, which was a sign of his last breath.

The five orifices : namely the holes of ears, eyes, nose, mouth and tongue. If they appear black, the person will die within three days. Only those with a moist tongue will survive. His facial features were all yellow and he died of spleen disease.

Forehead : If the forehead has yellow and bright yellow like brass, the person is alive; if the forehead is yellow like a crab shell, the person is dead. Those with black gas like water or iron sheet are alive; those with black gas like dust or wet ash are dead. Those with white gas like frost, snow and silver are alive; those with white gas like stone powder and dry bones are dead. Those that are green like willow leaves are alive; those that are green like indigo are dead. Those who are red like gems and red flowers are alive; those who are red like flames are dead.

Tiancang : Withered, yellowish, or black aura indicates serious illness; bright aura indicates nine out of ten illnesses are cured; a dark forehead or drooping head indicates death from illness.

Tianzhong : White goes straight down to the forehead, beware of death; Tianzhong, Dige, and Nian Shang are like smoke and liver, there will be unexpected worries.

Temple : If it is black like crow feathers, you will live; if there is scattered black gas, you will live (the temple is the finger-sized depression outside the ends of the eyebrows); if the temple, the gate of life, and the tip of the nose are black and hazy like smoke, it means a serious illness; if it is black like indigo or black in spots, it means a serious illness that is difficult to cure.

Yima : If there is yellow air, there will be life; if there is blue-black air, there will be fear and worry; if there is black like smoke or blue-blue with dry and dull luster, there will be serious illness and disaster.
