The price of Bitcoin fluctuated slightly and the exchange rate generally maintained a high level of volatility

The price of Bitcoin fell slightly in the Asian session on Thursday (December 10), but overall it still showed a high-level fluctuation pattern.

     The quotes released by BITSTAMP show that Bitcoin/US dollar (XBT/USD) soared from the 395 level to above 420 yesterday. It retreated slightly in the Asian session of this trading day, but still traded around the 415 level.

     The quotes released by KRAKEN show that Bitcoin/Euro (XBT/EUR) soared from below 365 to above 385 yesterday, and fell slightly in the Asian session of this trading day, but still traded above 375.

     The quotes released by Huobi.com show that Bitcoin/CNY soared from the 2580 level to the 2785 level yesterday. It retreated slightly in the Asian session of this trading day, but still traded around 2735.

     In the industry, six hours after foreign media Wired and Gizomodo reported that the inventor of Bitcoin, who goes by the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, might be 44-year-old Australian Craig Steven Wright, Australian police raided a property owned by Craig Wright.

     The Guardian reported that more than 10 police officers raided the property in the Sydney suburb of Golden at 1:30 pm local time on December 9. "They wore white gloves and conducted a thorough search of the cabinets and storage areas in the house."

     However, the police issued a statement saying that their actions had nothing to do with the report. The Guardian pointed out that the raid on Wright's home was due to an investigation by the Australian Taxation Office.

     A copy of the Australian Taxation Office document published by foreign media Gizmodo shows that the government agency interviewed Wright in February last year. During the meeting, they discussed matters related to Bitcoin.

     The document shows: Wright said, "I tried everything to hide the fact that I started running Bitcoin in 2009. But I think it eventually became something that more than half of the world already knew."

     At 13:19 Beijing time on December 10, Bitcoin/USD was 413.10, Bitcoin/Euro was 375.63, and Bitcoin/CNY was 2741.00.
