[Filecoin Weekly Report-62] Countdown 1 day, how is the preparation for the space race going?

• On August 19, Filecoin officials finally "let go", confirming that the space race will start at 6 am on August 25, Beijing time. I wonder if all the miners are ready~

• On August 19, Song Jiang appeared on Slack and bluntly stated that Filecoin was unfair and announced that measures would be taken during the space race. He then asked the official three questions and battled with @Why.

• On August 22, the Force Zone announced the launch of a cooperation plan to help the majority of miners solve the problem of low order success rate, achieve 100% storage and retrieval transaction success rate, and share 4.1 million FIL .

• The computing power increased rapidly last week. In more than three days, the computing power increased to 14.5PiB. The average daily increase was about 4PiB, which is the highest since the Filecoin network was tested, indicating that most miners are stepping up testing;

• Last weekend, the block height was close to 10,000, and the average number of blocks per tipset was close to 3.7. Given the current dispersion of miners, this is slightly lower;

• Last weekend, the number of active miners in the network was close to 300, spread across five continents, with the largest number in Asia.

• New code and bug fixes:

• The upper limit of collateral setting is 1.0 FIL, which reduces the collateral amount (still not enough for large miners)

• Add the code for the debt part, if the mortgage is not enough, you still need to pay it back

• A lot of fixes for the order placing robot Bot. It’s not perfect but it’s much better.
