Ace, a high-end European luxury goods retailer, accepts Bitcoin

     Bitpay, a global Bitcoin business payment processor and solutions provider, has reached a cooperation agreement with Ace Group , a European high-end jewelry and watch dealer based in Amsterdam , which will allow the family group to accept digital currency payments in the future.

Ace CEO Aaron Joseph said that the company is building an e-commerce mall to provide online services to customers in conjunction with Bitpay. Joseph said that he has noticed the possibility of Bitcoin as a payment method to facilitate online transactions since 2010. Considering the global popularity and the interests of merchants and consumers, he believes that now is the best time to accept Bitcoin.

    "Although the new technology of Bitcoin is still confusing to many people, it is a powerful supplement to payment methods such as PayPal and bank transfer. I am proud to announce that Ace Jewelry will be the first high-end luxury goods dealer in the world to accept Bitcoin ," said Joseph.

     The family-owned Amsterdam-based fine jewellery and watch dealer has been a leader in the luxury goods sector since its founding in 1975. The company is also known for its innovative and pioneering spirit .
