Did you know there are 6,000 physical stores in Canada where you can buy Bitcoin?

Recently, Bitcoin ATM manufacturer BitAccess announced the launch of its Bitcoin purchase service in 6,000 physical stores across Canada. Through a Flexepin Bitcoin voucher, people can buy Bitcoin in physical stores with cash or debit cards. According to BitAccess, the process is similar to buying a gift card.

Flexepin: Bitcoin Voucher Launched by BitAccess

Flexepin vouchers can be purchased from cashiers at stores, and customers can redeem the voucher for the equivalent amount of cash in Bitcoin after receiving the voucher receipt. BitAccess claims that the process of redeeming the voucher takes 60 seconds.

The company outlines the service in three steps:

  1. Find a store by visiting https://bitaccess.co/flexepin;

  2. Pay the cashier in exchange for this Flexepin voucher. If the cashier cannot find the Flexepin option, tell them that it is operated on a pre-payment machine, similar to a bank draft;

  3. Redeem this voucher at https://bitcoin.bitaccess.co and deposit the Bitcoin into the digital wallet of your choice;

It is reported that users can use Flexepin vouchers to purchase up to 250 Canadian dollars worth of Bitcoin per day. The vouchers are available in denominations of 10 Canadian dollars, 20 Canadian dollars, 50 Canadian dollars, 100 Canadian dollars or 250 Canadian dollars.

Will Wheeler, an analyst at BitAccess, said excitedly in an interview with reporters:

“We will continue our mission to bring digital currency to more people, including the six million unbanked Canadians and the 23 million people living in rural Canada.”

BitAccess is a Canadian Bitcoin ATM manufacturer founded in November 2013 with a mission to make alternative financial services accessible to all businesses and people, and is committed to developing technology that is secure, accessible, and easy to use.

In addition, the company currently operates in a number of other countries, and BitAccess CEO Moe Adham said his team has seen the entire ATM and cash service industry as their competitor.
