Statement: The article content and pictures are from the IPFS official website ipfs.io. The time involved is US time. Lingdong Company only translated/organized/moved it. IPFS is a new hypermedia distribution protocol that handles both content and identity. IPFS enables the creation of fully distributed applications. It aims to make the web faster, more secure, and more open. The Lingdong community pays attention to the official weekly report and the development of the entire ecosystem every week. Today I will take you through the achievements of the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) so far. Welcome to IPFS Weekly #123 Click the link below to subscribe to the English version https://tinyletter.com/ipfsnewsletter Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Opera’s Global Crypto Community Manager Susie Batt writes an ode to our favorite decentralized protocols and how IPFS and Opera fit together seamlessly. Additional Features: See the panel on converging Web 2.0 and Web3 technologies from Opera, Unstoppable Domains, and IPFS. Check out interesting things from ETHDenver Since ETHDenver ended, Pegabufficorn and Spork Marmots have gone back into hibernation. Over 30 projects applied for IPFS project-specific bounties, not counting bounties offered by 14 other ecosystem members. Check out their ideas in the full list of project submissions. Join us for a week of talks with community hacker Leon Do, web archivist Ilya Kreymer, and RMRK expert Viktor Valastin! 1. Leon Do – From hackathon to Tachyon How building an IPFS game for a hackathon can turn into a startup.
2. Ilya Kreymer – Create Web Archives Directly in Your Browser with ArchiveWeb.page Ilya will demonstrate high-fidelity web archiving using the ArchiveWeb.page browser extension and discuss how to share web archives created in the browser directly with others using the experimental feature js-ipfs in the browser. Also covered: special optimizations for sharing archives on demand and current limitations of the system.
3. Viktor Valastin – Outsmarting the Future with NFTs on Polkadot using Vue, Textile, and IPFS RMRK is a new concept for creating NFTs on a substrate chain, one of which is the Kusama network. However, obtaining NFTs from the chain may be exhaustive for nodes and may take too much time. KodaDot is working on the RMRK library using the distributed ThreadDB database from Textile and IPFS to pin the metadata of the NFTs to provide a smooth user experience. 1. Software engineer Arjan de Haan gives a detailed, unbiased introduction to the Brave browser . 2. In the Scala project , a private cryptocurrency based on IPFS is now available on the IPFS hosting website. 3.
