Golden Finance News - After years of hard work, the homepage of Australian Bitcoin payment portal Satoshi (LRS) has processed consumer bills with a turnover of US$5 million. The startup, which began in May 2014, reached its industry milestone this month, according to industry insiders. It allows users to pay common household bills with Bitcoin. CEO Daniel Alexiuc told the publication:
A multi-million dollar turnover is an intriguing development, but the country’s privacy digital currency market prospects are difficult to get fair play in some legal arenas. Now, with major banks participating in blockchain trials and consumer awareness increasing, the prospects for Bitcoin payments are optimistic.
Last month, billionaire Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes hinted that he is a long-term Bitcoin holder and that he is “paying a lot” for “betting” with the cryptocurrency. |
