2. Compared with other wallets, what are the advantages of jade wallets?

a. As mentioned above, the Jade Wallet is very flexible, allowing users to choose to run it as a light node (convenient) or a full node (secure)

b. Jade Wallet is the first wallet in the industry that supports secondary development and embedded devices and has excellent scalability, facilitating the development of payment applications based on ETC.

c. In addition, Jade Wallet supports almost all the functions of other wallets.

3. What industry pain points does Jade Wallet solve?

Nowadays, many wallets on the market are for ETH, and Jade Wallet is the first secure native wallet built specifically for ETC. It will support all the features of ETC and will also be a part of the Jade platform.

4. What is the development plan for Jade Wallet?

The Jade Wallet is expected to be released this week. We will then focus on the construction of the tool library, continue to maintain the operation of the wallet, and launch a mobile wallet. The entire Jade project is not just about developing a wallet. Our goal is to build a Jade platform to facilitate other developers to develop Dapps based on ETC.

The Jade Wallet is just a prelude to the Jade Project. The purpose of the Jade Project is to create a platform that is convenient for developers to develop Dapps based on ETC. After the launch, it will become very easy to develop Dapps on ETC, and Dapps on ETC will surely emerge in an endless stream.

5. Monero implemented a hard fork to resist Asic. Is it rumored that ETC will follow suit?

We do not feel the need to do so and therefore will not follow suit.

6. Everyone knows that this year’s development focus is IOT (Internet of Things). Why is ETC so suitable for the Internet of Things?

The ETC core development team attaches great importance to the construction of IoT scenarios, which is the focus of project development this year. Therefore, when designing the underlying protocol of ETC, the needs of IoT are taken into consideration.

For example, we can use ETC's smart contracts to put the Internet of Things on the chain and achieve low-cost operation and management without having to purchase a dedicated central processing device. At the same time, ETC has withstood the test of history and is more reliable and stable than other projects. Therefore, ETC can perfectly support the operation of the Internet of Things from a technical point of view.

The core development team will start from the blockchain protocol level and develop the SputnikVM virtual machine by combining various technical means such as side chains and security protocols. This will enable it to solve various current IoT problems in a decentralized and secure manner, while achieving compatibility and independence with various hardware platforms.
