An anonymous person "Ikmyeong Na" who claims to be a ProgPoW developer said that an Ethereum ProgPoW node has been launched with the aim of splitting the Ethereum blockchain three days before or after Constantinople. Ikmyeong Na claimed that the ProgPoW project is based on the work of the Geth client and Ethereum Foundation Holiman, and has created an Ethereum alternative node that adopts a local ProgPoW, excluding Constantinople support from the code base.
