After ups and downs in various fields, it has experienced a process of transformation from fanaticism to rationality. As an important part of the upstream of BTC, the development of mining farms is also obvious to all. The development of mining farms in China benefits from China's perfect power infrastructure construction and cheap hydropower and thermal power resources. Therefore, China's BTC computing power has always occupied a place in the world, but as a hosting place for professional mining machines, there has always been a mismatch between the value of mining machines and the professionalism of mining farms. This has caused great troubles for miners who choose mining farms, and also caused mining farm owners to be unable to develop, build and operate mining farms. BTC mines have been in a period of obvious transformation in recent years. The specialization and standardization of the construction and operation of BTC mines is an inevitable trend. This requires miners and mine owners to have both the courage of financial innovation and the wisdom of scientific and technological traditions. When choosing a mine, miners consider "mining machine safety", "stable power supply" and "relatively low electricity prices". As a professional mine, we must take the nine-word needs of miners as the starting point, and control the mine construction process with eight words: "quality", "safety", "cost", and "construction period" (in no particular order). We will share with you about "quality", "safety", and "cost" later. Today, the mining professor will first discuss with you the "construction period" control of the mine. "One day in the cryptocurrency world is like one year in the real world." When people pay attention to the price of cryptocurrency and electricity, they often ignore the fact that time is the most scarce resource in the world. As a project that integrates human, financial and material resources, the construction of a mining farm needs to strengthen the management of the construction period. The procedures, contracts, equipment, installation and capital flows must be handled like a piano with ten fingers, otherwise the situation will be "the factory has been built but the equipment has not arrived". Situations such as "funding ran out halfway through the construction", "electricity was not connected after the project was completed", "electricity was connected but the procedures were not in place", etc., do not have a significant impact in "guerrilla warfare in small mines", but in "positional warfare in professional mines", these will affect the overall construction period of the mine project and bring fatal consequences. This "life and death line" of construction period puts forward higher requirements on the mine project managers in terms of construction period management level. The mining professor shares some experience on the control of construction period: 1. Improve the early stage supporting work of the project. More haste, less speed. Before the project is ready to start, due to the different understandings of policies by local partners and governments, a lot of preliminary work needs to be done patiently. Such as investment agreement, land pre-examination documents (or lease), environmental impact assessment filing documents, water and soil conservation approval documents, grid system access documents, etc. The approval of these documents needs to be connected with multiple units and departments such as the Development and Reform Commission, Land Bureau, Environmental Protection Bureau, Water Conservancy Bureau, and Grid Company. The above supporting documents must have a clear plan for the handling process. On the surface, these procedures are one contract and one chapter, but in essence they are the sorting out of your relationship with local partners, local governments, power grids, and the recognition and consensus of all shareholders. You cannot leave anything to chance and must implement them one by one before investing in the project, otherwise it will have a subversive impact on the project schedule and even the project itself. 2. Refine the site exploration work. You cannot catch a wolf without sacrificing the lamb. Most of the mine projects are located in remote areas. Due to the different scenarios, the scope of site exploration is relatively large. Before designing, it is necessary to conduct site surveys on site, mainly to check the "five connections and one leveling": power supply, network connection, access, water supply and drainage, site or factory building leveling, factory building structure, surrounding noise prevention, water and soil geology, etc. And fully consider the related business preparations such as transfer negotiations, power line planning, land (factory) lease negotiations, etc. At the same time, measures should be taken to mitigate weather factors such as heatstroke prevention, cold prevention, waterproofing, and snow prevention; site surveys should be detailed in advance. If it is not possible, it should be carried out in advance or the partners should be required to improve it, so as to minimize the impact of external factors on the main construction period. 3. Optimize engineering design work and draw a blueprint to the end. The mining project is a comprehensive project that integrates construction engineering, power engineering, network engineering, and heat dissipation engineering. Different from a small mining site, Professional mines should consider the overall design during the design process and implement “overall design and phased implementation”. The major plans should be determined during the design phase, and modular and standardized designs should be considered as much as possible, which can both save costs and leave room for small adjustments. In the construction process, it is inevitable that there will be situations where design, construction and commissioning are carried out at the same time. It is necessary to do a good job in construction drawing review and technical disclosure in advance to find technical problems that may affect the realization of construction period goals as early as possible; Project management personnel must carefully familiarize themselves with the design drawings, analyze deviations in a timely manner based on external conditions, material conditions and the actual conditions of the project, make design changes, and reasonably optimize and adjust construction. 4. Plan equipment and materials in advance, and prepare food and fodder before troops move forward. In order to complete the mine construction within the target construction period, we must prevent jams caused by tight supply of some equipment and materials or inadequate logistics and transportation. Mine managers should prepare equipment and material supply schedules according to the construction schedule to ensure that engineering equipment and standard materials arrive on site as planned. In particular, important equipment such as transformers, ring network cabinets, high-voltage cables, etc. need to be purchased immediately after the design plan is determined. If necessary, special personnel can be sent to the manufacturer to monitor the goods; For standard materials such as circuit breakers, fans, switches, water curtains, shutters, hot and cold isolation, and dust screens, a purchase list should be prepared, and the goods should be inspected after they arrive. If equipment is found to be non-compliant with relevant standards, timely feedback will be provided to prevent rework due to material and equipment quality issues, or subsequent power outages for maintenance, which may affect the progress of the mine construction. 5. Strengthen the tense and orderly construction, with the red flag flying high and the colorful flags fluttering. For the main construction of the mining project, it must be coordinated and carried out under the leadership of the organization. The entire construction process often requires multiple units to construct and multiple materials and equipment suppliers, and the cooperation between the various professions is extremely frequent. In addition, there are many processes, many types of work, a lot of manpower, and a lot of materials required. The construction process is prone to delays, omissions, and confusion in the work process. The construction organization must ensure that the red flag does not fall to prevent work delays, rework, etc. that lead to delays in the construction period. At the same time, the tight construction period is bound to have an impact on construction safety. We must pay attention to the implementation of safety responsibilities, the development of safety education, and the inspection of safe construction to prevent fatigue or carelessness of construction personnel, which may cause safety hazards and accidents and generate unexpected time costs. 6. Coordinate construction and operation and maintenance, and help the project get started and continue on its way. Before the mine is completed and handed over to operation and maintenance, quality supervision acceptance and related debugging work must be carried out, especially related fire prevention and waterproofing details. If hidden problems are not discovered in time, it will bring great hidden dangers after the handover operation, which will not only cause losses to the interests of the mine, but also affect the trust of the entrusted miners. During the handover of the mine for operation and maintenance, it is necessary to provide support before continuing on the journey. The construction personnel must hand over drawings, technology, and information to the operation and maintenance personnel. Special attention should be paid to the handover of drawings and information, which will help with the troubleshooting time of the later operation and maintenance. After the project is completed, various handover and acceptance work will be organized in a timely manner, and each handover will be completed one by one to ensure that the normal operation time of the mine is not affected.
