ETC in a Week: ETC protocol upgrade successfully completed, development focus shifted to monetary policy and management model

With the recent completion of the ETC protocol upgrade, the focus now shifts to monetary policy and governance model.

The difficulty bomb delay was part of the last protocol update

● The difficulty bomb will be delayed until after 2017

● There will be another update in January 2017 to fix the replay attack issue

● Regarding the proposals for monetary policy, everyone seems to have a consensus: to set a ceiling

●10% reduction every 3 million blocks

● The approximate time for 3 million blocks to be generated is 1.4 years

●Theoretically, the upper limit of ETC is 222 million

● 99% of the coins will be mined before 2071, and the cap will be reached in 2164

ETCWin's crowdfunding is still in progress

ETCWin is a digital asset exchange that uses Ethereum's original chain ETC as the basic digital currency.
