Ethereum 2.0's first public multi-client testnet Altona v0.12 is expected to be launched in 7 days

According to BlockBeats, the official Ethereum blog updated its development content and plans on June 23, including that the new Solidity deposit contract has been officially confirmed and added to the bounty program; the Altona v0.12 testnet is expected to be launched next week; and bugs will continue to be found and fixed.

Since the release of spec version v0.12, the client teams have been working hard to update and test their code base in preparation for the public testnet. After discussions and continuous improvements, the development team is finally about to launch the first public, multi-client testnet v0.12 - Altona, which is expected to be released in the next 7 days. This network will be fully controlled by the teams that make up the client (planned Lighthouse, Nimbus, Prysm, Teku), Afri and EF team members. After the initial launch, the deposit contract address will be allowed to be publicly released, and the public can participate.
