The Central Bank’s Digital Currency Research Institute is recruiting interns in Beijing, Shenzhen and Suzhou

Recently, the Digital Currency Research Institute of the People's Bank of China announced the internship recruitment for the "Digital Research Star Program", opening internship positions to elite students.

The announcement shows that this recruitment is open to full-time master's and doctoral students graduating in 2021 and 2022 from major universities across the country. Computer-related majors, economics and finance, mathematics, statistics and other majors are preferred.

The announcement also introduced the "Digital Research Institute" itself - a unit directly under the Central Bank, the official research and development institution of China's legal digital currency, a "national team member" in the field of financial technology, undertaking national-level digital financial projects, and a salary and benefits system benchmarked against leading Internet companies.

In fact, in April this year, the Shenzhen Fintech Research Institute under the Digital Currency Research Institute of the Central Bank released recruitment information for multiple positions to social enterprises, including architects, blockchain engineers, Java development engineers, senior interaction designers, senior visual designers, product managers, researchers, project managers, etc., covering multiple positions in technology, design, products and management.
