【Last week’s hot spots】

At 11 pm on August 13, the Filecoin network was reset again. So far, the network is operating normally.

On August 11, Filecoin core developer @Why announced in Slack that new v28 parameters would be set to facilitate storage services for Chinese miners.

【Last week’s testnet progress】

1 ) After the reset on 08/08, running until Friday (08/14), there are quite a few changes:

Market: Improve the effectiveness of addressing, update the Bot code, and hope that the success rate of miners will not be affected by the Bot's own problems
Improved message filtering and selection to be more efficient
Gas fee calculation, using EIP1559: GAS calculation is processed according to the basic fee and Tip
Running relatively smoothly, more changes are coming in

2) Restarted again on 08/14, using v28 parameters, and the economic model changed slightly

After two days of operation, the operation was relatively stable
The height is close to 7000, the block reward is about 7.36FIL; the computing power reaches 6.50PiB, and there are more than 200 active miners

Improve the calculation of message gas consumption, such as adding a check for overly high settings;
