The UK Treasury is seeking opinions on issues related to "cryptocurrencies and stablecoins"

The consultation includes opinions on how the UK regulatory framework can mitigate consumer and stability risks while leveraging new technologies and supporting innovation and competition, as well as a call for evidence and supporting documents on crypto asset investment, wholesale use, and widespread use of distributed ledger technology in the financial sector.
