According to a report by JPMorgan strategist Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou, Coindesk reported on March 16 that although institutional capital inflows have decreased significantly this quarter, retail Bitcoin investors are catching up, and retail Bitcoin capital inflows are expected to exceed institutional inflows in the first quarter. Quarterly data so far shows retail investors keeping pace with institutional inflows, with retail investors buying more than 187,000 bitcoins, while institutional investors bought about 172,684 bitcoins. In the previous quarter, institutional investors bought more bitcoins than retail investors. According to analysis, the decline in institutional funds may be one of the reasons why Bitcoin has failed to stay above $60,000, but recently, everyone’s focus is currently on retail participation, especially considering the new round of stimulus measures introduced in the United States in recent days. |
