Can Bitcoin ride on the political interest bandwagon?

In the past few months, the development of Bitcoin has encountered unprecedented resistance. For many digital currency enthusiasts, this is tantamount to stifling innovation. The BitLicense framework recently introduced by New York State has severely criticized the practice of imposing high license fees on Bitcoin startups.

Nasdaq columnist Martin Tiller said that policy is the most critical factor affecting Bitcoin. He emphasized that the attitude of the authorities towards Bitcoin has changed, while in the early days, the authorities often showed strong opposition to the concept of digital virtual currency.

Is Bitcoin trustworthy?

Much of the debate about Bitcoin often revolves around the decentralized nature of the Bitcoin network. But for many people, the real appeal of Bitcoin is its circulating value, which is not controlled by a central bank or government, but by people and the network itself. In addition, the anonymity of Bitcoin transactions may need to be abandoned, as abandoning it in due course will help gain regulation of the industry.

Interestingly, some politicians tend to be open-minded about Bitcoin. Some use Bitcoin to conduct political activities, such as Rand Paul. Another example is US presidential candidate Rick Perry, who has publicly expressed the idea of "leaving breathing space for Bitcoin." Similarly, on the other side of the world, a candidate for London Mayor said that he would make the budget of government offices public and transparent by using blockchain.

Although it is not a pleasant thing to involve a lot of political interests in the world of Bitcoin, it may not be a bad thing for the development of Bitcoin.
