Bitmain releases Antminer S7 delayed delivery compensation announcement

On October 15, Bitmain announced a compensation plan for delayed delivery of Antminer S7, with each Antminer S7 receiving a compensation of 40 yuan per day. Bitmain learned from Bitmain that Antminer S7 is being delivered in batches, with three models, 4.86T, 4.66T, and 4.45T. The following is the full text of the announcement:

In September 2015, the Antminer S7 started pre-sale. We originally planned to deliver the products from September 28 to October 8 according to the order sequence. With the increase of chip computing power and the number of chips per machine, the difficulty of developing and producing Bitcoin mining machines has also increased. The time required for hardware development, prototype production and testing has also increased. Bitmain has always adhered to the concept of striving for technological excellence and creating stable mining machines. For the first batch of orders scheduled in September, the compensation plan is as follows:
Compensation for receiving 4.66T mining machine:

The pre-sale Antminer S7 has a computing power of 4.86T. Due to insufficient stock of this model, we chose to ship the 4.66T model to some users and refunded 450 yuan for each unit.

Compensation for users whose products have not been shipped yet :

Starting from October 12, 2015, for users who have not received the delivery of Antminer S7, Bitmain will compensate them RMB 40 per day for each mining machine (the Bitcoin exchange rate is 1570. If the Bitcoin exchange rate fluctuates by more than 5%, Bitmain will recalculate the compensation income)

For a refund, you need to provide your bank card number, bank, name, and mobile phone number. For domestic orders, please contact Fan Xiaojun and send the information to [email protected].
