Former Ripple CEO: Bitcoin miners should switch from PoW to PoS

On September 3, Chris Larsen, co-founder and former CEO of Ripple, believed that Bitcoin miners should switch from PoWS to Po, but miners and exchanges would not voluntarily implement such a drastic change. He believed that regulators would not fail to intervene in management. The government would cut off zero-emission credits for companies with risk exposure and might also cancel some remittance licenses. At the same time, he stated that there is no such thing as green mining, and praised Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, even calling him a "hero" for his determination to abandon PoW. |
