There is so much Alpha on Twitter. You can go from $0 to $100,000 very quickly based on the information on Twitter alone, but you need to understand how to do it. Here are 6 ways to get more alpha from Crypto Twitter: Using Twitter Lists This is a basic tip, but most people are too lazy to do it. You need to organize these lists by category so you can quickly browse through different departments, links, etc. I will be making my lists public in the next few weeks. Using Tweetdeck This is essential if you want to organize the crypto content you see. You can add anyone's public lists to Tweetdeck. Without using Tweetdeck columns, you won't be able to maximize the effectiveness of your lists. Other column tips: Add the cash tags you want to monitor as columns, but modify the settings to try to filter the most engaging tweets. For example, minimum 10 RTs/likes, etc. I mute various words like giveaway, competition, whitelist, etc. This helps to cut through the noise. Sometimes it’s also worth adding key narratives as columns. For example Avax subnets, Eth mergers, stablecoin wars, etc. This will help you understand the strength of certain narratives. Keep key individuals and accounts on the radar. The speed of information in crypto is lightning fast. Even more so if you are a trader. Here are some strategies I employ: I keep @peckshield in my notifications because they are usually the fastest place to post Defi vulnerabilities. I have been able to capture some short opportunities from notifications from this account. All the accounts on my notifications affect the investments in my main account. This is a simple question, but many people don't do it. A few days ago, Terra tweeted that they had purchased $100 million worth of AVAX and announced a strategic partnership with Avalanche. Seeing this quickly would give you a clear long opportunity. But be careful who you choose. For example, don't choose BitBoy. Using IFTTT IFTTT is an incredible tool that allows you to automate actions across apps, devices, and services.
You can use IFTTT to save tweets with specific content to a Google Spreadsheet. This can be used for any topic you want to keep track of. For example, any tweet that contains StarkNet.
IFTT can send you a notification every time a new tweet matches your search query. I use it to monitor anyone talking about a project that I think is under the radar and want to make sure I know if a big client starts mentioning them. Monitor Chad_follows Chad_follows pushes new accounts followed by Twitter celebrities in real time. You can find interesting people to follow and find some good and early projects. Favorite Tweets Make a habit of bookmarking good tweets/articles so you can read them later. There’s a good thread on almost every popular cryptocurrency topic. You can’t possibly read them all in real time. Review all your bookmarks at the end of each week. Sign up for Twitter Blue if it’s available where you are and organize the tweets into bookmark folders. The $3/month fee is well worth it for this feature. |
