Palmistry is an important branch of physiognomy. In palmistry, many meanings can be seen from the palm lines. There are three main lines in the palm lines, and the lifeline is one of them. It represents a person's health status, life span and so on. So what should we do if our lifeline is short? Let’s learn about it together below! According to the research of the International Palmistry Association in 1979, the lifeline on a person's hand represents five meanings: 2. The lifeline represents whether a person will encounter an accident, a serious illness or a serious danger. 3. The lifeline represents whether a person will have surgery and in which year. 4. The lifeline represents a person’s health status throughout his life. 5. If a person does not have a destiny line on his hand, the life line can replace the destiny line. As for how long a person will live, we must look at the Mount of Venus at the inner end of the lifeline and the health line that slants out from the bottom of the lifeline. Yamada Toshiyuki, a famous contemporary Japanese palmist, said: If a person's life span could be easily seen at a glance, life would be meaningless. If a person knows that he has a short life, how can he live peacefully and happily, and how can he make long-term plans for his life? To be honest, many people with a short lifeline can live a long life! Now let me introduce two views on the lifeline. The first is about the symbols of danger or disease appearing on the lifeline. The lifeline starts at the fork between the thumb and index finger, where the age is counted as 1 year. From then on, each centimeter is counted as 7 years old. That is, the 1st centimeter is 1 to 7 years old, the 2nd centimeter is 7 to 14 years old, the 3rd centimeter is 14 to 21 years old, and so on. In short, at the end of life (close to the wrist and neck line), it will be 99 years old. If at a certain age there is a break, rupture, triangle or island on this line, forming a messy divergent line, it means that the person will face great danger or serious illness at a certain age. The second type is about the presence of symbols on the lifeline that represent danger or illness. If a good symbol appears above a bad symbol, it means that the person will survive a great danger or serious illness. The view that the length of the lifeline is a symbol of life expectancy was denied in 1952. In mid-July 1952, the International Association of New Palmists held its first general meeting in Canberra, Australia, and invited 1,104 people from various countries who had settled in Australia to conduct an experiment. As to whether the length of the lifeline can be used as a symbol of the length of life, the following experimental results are available: 1. People whose lifeline is very short, less than an inch long: there are 257 people who live to be 65 years old. There were 182 people who lived to be 75 years old. There are 87 people who live to be 85 years old or older. 2. The lifeline is broken in the middle or divided into many broken lines: It means that the person had a serious illness or a major accident and almost died. There are 146 people whose lifelines are broken in the middle or divided into many broken lines, but they have never encountered an accident or had a serious illness (I will talk about this situation later). 3. There is a series of continuous islands on the lifeline, forming a small chain: 317 people have been in poor health for a long time (at least more than 10 years) and are prone to accidents. Among them, 144 people have many minor ailments but have never encountered an accident. There are 173 people who are prone to accidents but are in relatively good health. Judging from the above experimental results, we can be almost certain that the length of the lifeline does not equal the length of life! That is to say, people with a long lifeline may not live long, and people with a short lifeline may not die young. Therefore, some people with a short lifeline should not worry about their short life, and should not believe the nonsense of some irresponsible fortune tellers and scare themselves to death. In fact, palmistry is a science of observation, experimentation and statistics. It is not taught by gods, nor is it set in stone. The above is all about what to do if the lifeline is short.
