zkSync token issuance has been confirmed and will start soon, please refer to its documentation for more information. Although airdrops are not guaranteed and we do not know if snapshots have been taken, it is worth trying the following tasks to maximize your chances of qualifying for potential airdrops.

Using the Mainnet

1. Activate your account (need to pay some ETH for gas)

2. Use cross-chain bridges such as Orbiter Finance, LayerSwap or zkSync to transfer ETH

3. Make some trades on ZigZag Exchange

Minting NFTs

To mint an NFT on mainnet, follow these steps:

1. Upload images at https://nft.storage

2. Copy the CID

3. Go to this link, paste the CID, and mint

Donate on Gitcoin

This is also part of the mainnet mission. Donate to some projects through the zkSync network. In addition, complete as many stamps as possible in Gitcoin Passport.

Using the Testnet

Also, please note that some of these projects may also reward their early users.

Faucets and cross-chain bridges

Please note that there will be a rebase on October 25th which will clear all testnet transactions and balance history. Therefore, it is OK to make some transactions from time to time and then withdraw assets to the Goerli network.
