According to Foresight News, CoinDesk cited sources as reporting that Bitcoin mining company Riot Blockchain plans to change its partner mining pool. Previously, it used Braiins mining pool (formerly Slush Pool) for mining. Braiins is one of the few mining pools that uses the PPLNS mechanism, which only pays miners after the mining pool finds a block, and then the mining pool returns to check the effective share contributed by each miner before winning the block, which to some extent leads to a reduction in the number of Bitcoin mining rewards for Riot. In order to avoid this difference, Riot decided to change its mining pool. Foresight News reported yesterday that Riot mined 521 bitcoins in November, lower than the expected 660, and the main reason may be the difference in payment methods of the mining pools used. |
