Why do talented people often fail to achieve great things? In physiognomy, there is a very direct description of naturally intelligent people. The position of the innate hairline indicates how soon a person's intelligence will develop, while the breadth of the forehead also shows the person's IQ after development. The above two places are both located in the upper half of the human head, which is actually the development of the front half of the brain. People with high talents usually have strong comprehension and creativity, and can easily stand out among their peers, but this does not mean that they will have a smooth life and will eventually achieve great things. Nowadays, most parents attach great importance to prenatal education and education and training during early childhood, but often neglect guidance during adolescence. There are many such examples around me. There is an old saying: "A child who is bright when he is young may not be a good person when he grows up." This is true. Many children show great talent when they are young, but become mediocre when they reach middle age. Why is this? Below I will talk about it from two aspects. 1. Innate Luck A person's innate fortune represents the period from birth to puberty, a period greatly influenced by the family and parents, and is reflected in the eyebrows and ears in the face. During this stage, the family's income, parents' education level, personality, and whether they are loving all directly affect the child's congenital development. Of course, innate luck and talent are different concepts. It does not mean that people with good innate luck are naturally smart, nor does it mean that people with bad innate luck have poor talent. But in numerology, these two aspects belong to the same category. People who are born with good fortune often have a smooth youth, without any worries or burdens, and have almost no worries. Not only is everything paid for by their parents, but they also have a natural sense of material and spiritual superiority among children of the same age. People of this type have thick and upturned eyebrows, wide space between eyebrows, and high ears. I believe that most parents tend to let their children live a carefree life from an early age and also to have face in front of other children. In fact, this innate sense of superiority has both good and bad sides. The good thing is that it can cultivate self-confidence from an early age and be loved by friends. The bad thing is that one has a strong sense of self-awareness, is arrogant and conceited, and is accustomed to enjoying life and afraid of failure. How to grasp this degree? I believe that our ancestors have already had a mature plan, which is to recite classics in early childhood, focus on cultivating their understanding of moral wisdom, use morality as the starting point of wisdom, and guide them to correct life beliefs and goals. Sadly, modern education is becoming more and more utilitarian, with society as a whole and individuals expecting their offspring to become successful, and thus prematurely developing their intelligence and neglecting their moral character. This is also the case for people who are successful in their youth, but once they reach middle age and their career is about to enter maturity, their innate advantages have been exhausted, and they lack the ability to adapt and work hard due to their greed for enjoyment, and their life begins to go downhill. This is like Chinese football players, who, during their teenage years, are not worse than those from other countries around the world, and can even compete with kids from football powerhouses. But when they were in their twenties, they became professional athletes and joined a football club. They were content with the status quo and became complacent after earning some money and gaining some false fame from the media and fans. They indulge in eating, drinking, whoring and gambling, and enjoy debauchery to the fullest, so the National Olympic Team has always performed poorly. When he was 25, it was the golden period of his career. When his awareness and skills had reached their peak, his physical fitness and quality had declined. Therefore, after he joined the national team, he was basically defeated by everyone he met. 2. Great Achievers People who are not talented enough don’t have to worry. I believe that acquired efforts can reflect the value of life far more than innate capital. High talent only means a high starting point, just like in a stair climbing competition, people with high talent start at the third floor, while people with low talent start at the first floor or even in the underground parking lot. Although the starting point affects the progress of the game, it cannot determine the outcome of the game. Numerous research data show that many people who start their luck late in life often end up achieving great things. These people may have had unfortunate childhoods, or may have delayed intellectual development, or may have encountered many unresolved problems at the beginning of their business or work, but this is not a bad thing. On the contrary, people who have experienced many twists and turns tend to develop a tenacious sense of survival, and at the same time improve their social adaptability through setbacks and practice. |
