Good palm lines can allow us to prepare in advance to welcome good fortune, and bad palm lines can allow us to prevent various diseases in advance. Now, let’s follow the master to diagnose diseases through palmistry.

heart disease

A common symptom of heart disease is that the palms are reddish in color. Depending on the severity of the disease, the color may deepen or turn dark purple or bluish-white. The lip color will also be similar to the palm color.

A thumb joint that is short and too rigid to bend is common in high blood pressure headaches, heart disease, and stroke.

Heart disease often causes swollen palms and numbness of the fingertips, while tadpole-shaped fingers are mostly caused by congenital heart disease.

If there is a cross pattern in the center of the palm, and if the cross roughly divides the palm into four quadrants, the heart is normal. If the cross pattern moves downward and the quadrants are unevenly divided, there may be heart defects.

The love line is unclear and appears wavy or twisted.

There are many short vertical lines under the love line.

There are several diagonal lines between the love line and the life line.

The end of the lifeline is in the shape of a delta.

When pericarditis occurs, the fingers on the left side often feel painful. There is subcutaneous bleeding and black bruises in the central area of the love line (between the middle finger and ring finger), which often causes pain.

The fingers are bent, the gaps between the knuckles are large and the lines are scattered, which is often caused by spleen and stomach dysfunction due to liver and gallbladder diseases.

After a phalanx fracture heals, the finger cannot bend at all. If the lesion is in the thumb, it cannot contact the other four fingers. This is called phalanx healing disease, which is a rare hereditary bone disease.

Stand upright with your eyes closed, stretch your hands out, and spread your fingers. You can see your fingers trembling slightly, which is a sign of hyperthyroidism.

The subcutaneous tissue cells of the fingers become dehydrated, and the skin on the palms of the fingertips becomes wrinkled and shriveled, as if the hands have been soaked in water for a long time (called "washerwoman's hands"). This is common in acute gastrointestinal diseases, severe and frequent diarrhea, vomiting, etc.

The palm muscles severely atrophy and lose their original shape, especially the thenar and hypothenar muscles, which atrophy significantly, making the palm flat like the upper limbs of an ape (called "ape hand"). It is common in arm nerve injury and inflammation.

Swollen palms and numb fingers may indicate heart disease.

The entire palm becomes wider and thicker, the fingers are thick and short, and the zygomatic bones, mandible, forehead bones, etc. may all become prominent, which is common in axillary pituitary tumors in adults.

The appearance of blue veins on the wrists is a sign of abdominal coldness. Men will experience sexual dysfunction and infertility. Women with kidney deficiency will suffer from dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, infertility, etc. Children will suffer from spleen and kidney deficiency and developmental disorders. (Iron and vitamin supplement)

The appearance of blue veins on the thenar eminence usually indicates a cold or fever, and these veins will fade away after recovery. If it does not fade for many years, it indicates that the heart function is damaged.

There are blue veins at the base of the index finger and I often have headaches. There are blue veins on the right palm and there is fecal stagnation in the cecum. There are blue veins at the base of the right fingers and there is fecal stagnation in the colon.

There are blue veins on the left palm and stool stagnation in the sigmoid colon. There are blue veins at the base of the left fingers and fecal stagnation in the descending colon.

Blisters, peeling, and itching on the palms are usually caused by fungal infections of the hands, namely tinea manuum, commonly known as "tinea manuum."

Exposed blue veins (dilated veins) on the palms and fingers are mostly a sign of bowel stagnation.

The skin on the back of the hands is dry and wrinkled, the knuckles are stiff and inflexible, and if you touch them, your hands feel cold. This is the case all year round. This is cold hands and feet syndrome, which is common in the elderly and infirm. If the cold hands and feet are paroxysmal, accompanied by symptoms such as unbearable abdominal pain, bluish face, cold sweats, etc., and the patient is like a normal person after the attack, it is common in ascariasis.
