Delta 1300W Power Supply Review

Delta 1300W Power Supply Review

Power supply model: DPS-1300BB B

Brand: Delta

Rated power: 1300W

Power supply appearance

1: Power supply body.

2: A fan.

3: 4 6-pin cables.

4: About 2.4KG (4.8 catties)

5: Length: 23.7CM Width: 9.3CM Height: 10CM

The overall appearance of the power supply adopts trapezoidal gray frosting treatment. The silver-gray shell makes the power supply look very domineering. It is exactly the same as Delta 1400W power supply.

Power nameplate

The rated power of this Delta Gold Power Supply is 1300W, with dual 12V outputs, one current limit is 53.3A MAX, it belongs to low speed mode, and has a silent function. One current limit is 106.5A MAX, and the maximum output power can reach 1278W, accounting for about 98% of the total power, and the output capacity is very good.

Power tail

The tail air outlet adopts hexagonal trapezoidal honeycomb heat dissipation holes, and the structure inside the tail can be clearly seen, which can achieve good ventilation effect for the power supply.

Power supply fan

Fan: Comes with a built-in fan for good ventilation.

Fan power consumption: 65-75W

Silent function: Yes, below 500W is low speed mode, above 500W is high speed mode.

Noise: about 75.9 decibels, computer noise is about 60 decibels, and household ceiling fans are about 75 decibels.

Conversion rate: 90.6% (white brand 80%, bronze brand 85%, silver brand 88%, gold brand 90%)

Working temperature: about 33.5 degrees (ambient temperature 30 degrees during testing)

Advantages: high conversion rate, durable.

Disadvantages: Very noisy, large in size, not suitable for living room.

Power cord

The power supply is equipped with a 220V input power cord. In order to reduce the operating loss of the mining machine, the 1300W uses pure copper national standard 3X0.75mm² wire with a length of about 1.5 meters; the national standard 10A plug is suitable for all domestic mining farms.

Power cable

Cable: Delta DPS-1300BB power supply is equipped with 4 6-pin cables, 50cm long plus 20cm long.

They are all high-specification 18-gauge electronic wires, which increase transmission efficiency and reduce losses.

To summarize: Remember: This power supply can only work between 100V~127V and 200V~240V. When tested at 41% load, the power conversion rate can reach more than 90%. It is a gold medal power supply.

There are many types of Bitcoin mining power supplies, and the conversion rates are also different. If you need to use a Bitcoin mining power supply, the one in this article has a high conversion rate and is relatively cheap. For large-scale deployment, it can save considerable power cost investment. However, if you encounter some Bitcoin mining power supplies with low conversion rates, you must consider the electricity cost, safety and stability.

However, it should be noted that different ambient temperatures, different mining machine temperatures, and different mining machine fan speeds will all affect the total power consumption, so the above figures are for reference only.
