Bitcoin is expanding to ordinary merchants

     Sunny Singh, Chief Business Officer at Bitcoin Inc., which has been working to promote Bitcoin adoption in global enterprises, recently led a discussion on Bitcoin, the rapid growth of blockchain technology for banks, venture capital, and its importance to merchants and small e-commerce businesses.

According to the analysis report of PricewaterhouseCoopers, the world's top accounting firm, the investment in Bitcoin in 2015 has reached 9.16 billion US dollars, which is 262.5% higher than the same period last year. In the past two years, institutions and users around the world that accept Bitcoin have announced positive growth in their sales revenue. For example, Dell and online retail giant TigerDirect both reported positive growth in Bitcoin sales last year. More and more internationally renowned companies such as Dell and Microsoft are working hard to expand the application of Bitcoin in ordinary merchants and promote the value of Bitcoin.

In this regard, Xu Mingxing said: "The number of global Bitcoin users and transaction volume has increased nearly 100 times since 2013. The expansion of its application scope has also brought about an increase in investment scale and a gathering of talents. Bitcoin will have a broader development prospect in the future ."
