Translation: Prince Gong The Bank of England (BOE) is looking for interns who are familiar with blockchain and is offering selected students a six-week paid internship with the opportunity to obtain a corresponding position in the organization. According to its website, applicants will be encouraged to provide a product idea based on blockchain technology that can promote positive changes in British society. The deadline will be December 7. The website states: “The point is that (blockchain) technology will contain certain risks, but also many profound ideas, gaming opportunities, and life goals worth pursuing. We want to hear your voice.” Students are encouraged to participate individually or to create a team of six. Team members can be freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Almost any grade can qualify here. The winning team will receive an invitation to visit the Bank of England and will be able to meet or work with key members of the Project, Data and Technology teams. The Bank of England released a report earlier this year in which it mentioned that the combination of digital currency and mobile technology could reshape the payments sector. |
