Uphold accepts China UnionPay cards for RMB top-up

As a global innovative money service company, Uphold has always been committed to providing better and more convenient services to users in China. Today, Uphold announced the launch of the China UnionPay card recharge function (internal public beta). All Uphold members in Greater China (mainland China, Hong Kong) can recharge their Uphold accounts with UnionPay cards from now on.

In addition, all individuals and commercial companies in mainland China and Hong Kong who wish to expand their financial services capabilities can now enrich the diversity of their currency services through Shangchi Connect - Shangchi API. Shangchi provides all technical support to all individual and commercial users who wish to use UnionPay financial services, facilitating users to develop all customized products and applications on the Shangchi platform.

The launch of UnionPay cards provides Uphold, an American money service company, with a better service channel for Chinese users.

Membership Privileges and Fees

For users:

Members in China who have completed real-name authentication need to provide a passport or Chinese ID card to complete real-name authentication

Free services:

Free membership registration

Free and unlimited transfers between members

Fees:

· When using UnionPay card to top up your account, a 3.8% handling fee will be charged for each transaction (there is a daily transaction limit)
