Boxing champion Tyson launches Bitcoin wallet app

Former world-famous heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson seems ready to make a big move into the Bitcoin industry. Earlier this year, Tyson partnered with Bitcoin Direct to launch a new Tyson-branded Bitcoin ATM that promises to convert cash into Bitcoin in 20 seconds. Today, the boxing champion announced that he has partnered with the company to launch a Tyson-branded Bitcoin wallet app. Users can now buy or sell Bitcoin through Gildera within the app.

The background image of the app is a tattoo on Tyson's face. Bitcoin Direct said it hopes to use Tyson's global influence to attract more people to pay attention to Bitcoin.

iOS and Android users can download the app from major app stores starting today.
