Lisk, which raised $5.8 million in crowdfunding, announces its 2016 roadmap

Although some members of the digital currency community have been concerned about the Lisk project from the beginning, it now appears that the Lisk team is ready to launch their plan. It is one thing for a proof of concept to receive a lot of funds, but if there is no clear development roadmap, then these funds will be useless. Although Lisk has announced the project launch date, it may eventually change depending on the actions of investors.

Lisk 2016 Roadmap

First of all, many people are curious about when Lisk will actually launch. Lisk recently completed their ICO successfully, but during the ICO phase, Lisk had no real roadmap. Lisk mentioned their current plans in the company blog, including an official launch date of April 11th, but this will depend on how many investors generate Lisk passcodes by April 4th.

What is particularly attractive is that Lisk plans to provide users with a full client on the day of launch, rather than launching a beta client first and gradually adding new features. This is a good approach for Lisk and is different from most ICO projects in the past few years. If investors can use the full client, then it means that the ICO funds can be put to good use.

Speaking of ICO, Lisk raised a total of 14,080 BTC and more than 80 million XCR, which is quite amazing. However, about 70 BTC and 2.5 million XCR will be refunded later. Therefore, the final amount of funds raised will be announced in the next few days. According to statistics, the number of individual participants in this ICO is close to 3,900, which shows that the Lisk project itself has real appeal from the beginning.

There were some dramatic events during the ICO. Due to miscommunication between Bter and the Lisk team, a transaction of 2.5 million XCR was transferred to the second Crypti account of the Lisk team without any agreement. Therefore, this transaction will be returned to Bter, and Bter will need to carefully return it to the customer.

Finally, let's talk about the ICO passcode generated by the Lisk platform. Every individual transaction on the Lisk website will have a unique passcode, and users must protect this passcode information, which is crucial. If there are not enough users generating passcodes by April 4, the Lisk launch date will be postponed.
