Coinify offers 17 blockchain asset payment services to merchants in Asia

Coinify, a Danish blockchain (asset) payment service provider, has partnered with Hong Kong-based payment company iPayDNA International to provide blockchain asset payment services to merchants in Asia, allowing merchants to accept 17 blockchain assets including Bitcoin. In addition, Coinify recently partnered with a Bitcoin exchange in Vietnam.

It is reported that iPayDNA's merchants will be able to accept 17 blockchain assets including Bitcoin. Merchant users can convert blockchain assets into local currency and send them to their bank accounts within a few days of receiving them.

Leading e-commerce in Asia Pacific

Coinify noted in a press release that the Asia-Pacific region is home to more than 60% of the world’s population and accounts for nearly 75% of global payment transactions. The region also has the highest share of e-commerce in terms of GDP.

Bebe also said that more customers are seeking alternative and secure payment methods.

One-stop payment service for online merchants

According to iPayDNA’s general manager Guan Seow, the value proposition of this partnership is to provide online merchants with a one-stop payment hub that offers most card payments as well as non-card payment options.

iPayDNA’s merchants can further benefit from the wide selection of blockchain assets offered by Coinify. “For all iPayDNA customers, they can now safely and easily embrace blockchain assets as their new alternative payment method,” said Seow.
