Bitcoin startup gets UK license as Bitcoin price soars

Bitcoin/Euro (XBT/EUR) fluctuated around 370 yesterday, and this trading day's Asian session surged to 375. Bitcoin/ CNY fluctuated around 2730 yesterday, and this trading day's Asian session surged to 2778.

UK company license:

It is reported that Bitcoin startup Circle has obtained the first electronic payment license issued by the UK Financial Services Authority, the UK's highest financial regulator.

Thanks to this license, Circle has officially reached a cooperation with Barclays Bank in the UK. After users bind their debit cards on the Circle app, they can use them to exchange pounds.

This is the first time that a European bank has allowed a virtual currency company to use the bank's infrastructure to exchange Bitcoin for British pounds (and euros in the future).
