Translation: Annie_Xu Colony, a decentralized talent services company that bridges recruiters and global freelancers, won first place in the Proof-of-Work startup competition at the 2016 Consensus conference and received a $10,000 grand prize. Co-founder Collin Vine spoke to a number of notable investors, including Pascal Bouvier of Santander InnoVentures, Rumi Morales of CME Ventures, Dan Morehead of Pantera Capital and Bitstamp, James Robinson of RRE Ventures, and Matthew Roszak of Bloq and Tally Capital. Collin Vine Vine explained in his presentation that companies can build "colonies" similar to project management apps and set "bounties" to reward freelancers for good work.
Before the presentation, investors introduced their expectations for Bitcoin companies, and Morehead joked that the only startups participating in the competition were not related to Bitcoin.
