DAO crowdsale closes at $20 million, surpassing Ethereum crowdsale total

The DAO crowdsale has been getting a lot of attention lately. However, this is not the first time that an Ethereum project has raised a large amount of funds at such a fast pace. Given that the DAO crowdsale did not set a hard funding cap, the final amount remains to be seen.
