In fact, the most active Bitcoin community in China in the early days was the Bitcoin Forum. The forum has been in chaos ever since. This is such a great irony for Bitcoin believers who preach decentralized anarchism everywhere. Don’t you want freedom and decentralization? The reason Baidu gave for not being able to open the relevant forums was: "According to relevant laws, regulations and policies, this forum is temporarily closed." I believe that Baidu made such a decision out of helplessness, and more out of a desire to protect the public. Because from what I have learned so far, other forums related to virtual digital currency have long been occupied by pyramid schemes, and there are false propaganda posts everywhere, including inspirational quotes or slogans, not to mention the virtual currency and digital currency forums that are the hardest hit.

At the same time, when searching for keywords such as virtual currency and digital currency in search engines, many web links and news information suspected of being pyramid schemes will appear. This is similar to the "Wei Zexi case" that was a hot topic some time ago.

Recently, a considerable number of newcomers have been attracted by the recent surge in Bitcoin prices. As beginners, they will instinctively search for keywords such as virtual currency in search engines, but the results that appear can easily mislead judgment. They have been cheated of money by fake pyramid schemes, and they will definitely point the finger at virtual currency, accusing virtual currency of being a pyramid scheme and Bitcoin of being a pyramid scheme. This cannot but be said to be the lack of external public relations functions in the currency circle. In most cases, companies and practitioners in the currency circle are entertaining themselves in a closed system, and no one is willing to preach to people outside the circle, because this is a thankless job for them. This gives many lawbreakers an opportunity, because the money of novices is always the easiest to cheat. The high-end coat plus hard publicity can quickly attract a large number of novices to enter the market, and when they have made enough money, they will immediately run away with the money.
