Spain’s University of Cantabria Launches Bitcoin and Blockchain Course

Bitcoin and blockchain courses have become increasingly popular around the world in recent years. The University of Cantabria will also offer a special summer course on July 14-15. The course is mainly aimed at professionals, entrepreneurs and students and will discuss a variety of topics. Bitcoin wallet provider Airbitz played a central role in organizing this course.

University of Cantabria launches Bitcoin and blockchain course

There is a growing demand for training on Bitcoin and the technology behind it. It seems worth exploring now. The University of Cantabria in Spain has decided to offer a two-day summer course.

The course comes at a perfect time, as countries in southern Europe are facing economic difficulties. Greece, Italy and Spain are all in the midst of a financial crisis and are still recovering. At the same time, it is a good opportunity to educate people about alternative currencies such as Bitcoin.

Topics discussed include the history of electronic currency and the basic principles of Bitcoin. The second day of the course will be about the Bitcoin ecosystem, an introduction to blockchain, and the principles of these two technologies.

Providing participants with such hands-on sessions during the course will help them better understand Bitcoin and blockchain.
