Deloitte, one of the “Big Four” accounting firms, now has its first-ever Bitcoin ATM. The Bitcoin automated trading machine, or BTM, made its debut yesterday at the offices of Deloitte’s Rubix blockchain division in downtown Toronto. Iliana Oris Valiente, founder of the Rubix project, explained that the move was intended to allow company employees and other people in the region to better understand blockchain. He said:
It is reported that this BTM is produced by Ottawa Bitcoin company Bitaccess. Rubix is the blockchain technology division of Deloitte in Canada, which aims to build a one-stop enterprise-level blockchain platform. According to data provided by CoinATMRadar.com, Bitcoin ATMs have been popping up around the world since 2014. As of now, the number of Bitcoin ATMs registered on the website has reached Bitaccess co-founder Moe Adham said in a statement:
