In a blog post, decentralized academy B9lab announced to the world that the first batch of graduates from their Ethereum developer course have been registered on the Ethereum blockchain. This means that they will soon have their verified certificates on the Ethereum platform, which is a special benefit they have received from the platform, with a completion and pass rate of over 80%.

Graduates can also add their certificates to LinkedIn as they are ready to take on some bigger challenges. B9lab says they trust their graduates.

The company wrote in a blog post:

“The course certificate is the highest mark of achievement in the field and can be viewed through our blockchain-based certification center.”

With their certificates on the blockchain, graduates have an easier way to prove they are certified, and because the blockchain is public, everyone can see it, and the information on it cannot be erased.

Ethereum Developer Course

B9lab’s Ethereum Developer Course is an online course that teaches software engineers the basics behind blockchain technology, including the languages and tools needed to build decentralized applications on the Ethereum platform.

This is a nine-week course with an expected duration of 4-6 hours per week. The course focuses on the programming language Solidity, how to use web3, and the Truffle framework. The goal is to have participants build a working decentralized application, which they can then configure and test.

Throughout the process, participants are supported by course directors who are part of the blockchain community. Following the exchange of information, opportunities for collaboration are also created.

B9lab founder Elias Haase said that by the end of the course, graduates should be ready to build decentralized applications.
