Mining machine introduction


The scale of virtual currency mining industry is growing day by day. Many individual miners buy their own graphics cards to assemble and mine, which requires certain skills and time. The Panda Miner team has brought together many professionals in the industry to form an all-round team. Within half a year, it has developed graphics card mining machines suitable for a variety of virtual currencies. Panda Miner hopes to become the world's number one brand of virtual currency hardware equipment.


This time we tested a prototype of the PandaMiner B1 Plus mining machine.

Power connection method Each hashboard has four 6-pin ports that need to be connected. It is recommended to use an independent power supply to power the entire machine.



Unboxing photos


The mining machine is packed in a five-layer special hard carton. After unpacking, the mining machine inside is wrapped in a foam sleeve, which can prevent moisture and shock, and avoid damage to the mining machine caused by logistics transportation.



The box also comes with 4 6-pin power extension cables.

From the picture, we can see that there are 8 fans on one side of the mining machine. The picture shows 8 air inlet fans, and there are also 8 air outlet fans on the other side of the mining machine.


The interfaces on one side of the mining machine, from left to right, are:

On the other side of the mining machine are four 6-pin power interfaces and an extended fan power interface.


Prepare for testing, test tools:


Infrared thermometer Measuring the temperature of the mining machine during mining
Noise Measuring the noise of mining machines
Power Meter Measuring the power consumption of mining machines during mining



Open the back panel of the mining machine and take a look at the internal structure of the mining machine. You can see a long motherboard with 4 graphics cards embedded on it and 16 fans on both sides. It is compact and small, saving space but also ensuring good heat dissipation.

Connect the extension cord and the power supply. The power supply we used in this test is the Ant APW3 power supply. In order to test the power consumption of the mining machine, the power supply is plugged into the power meter.

Connect the mouse, keyboard and monitor, turn on the power, and the fan will start to spin.

To turn on the machine, you need to press the power button on the mining machine. The power button is designed to be difficult to press by hand to avoid accidental touching. You need to find a tool to press it.

There is no problem after pressing the power button. The display lights up and all the indicator lights next to the power button light up.



The system installed on the Panda Miner is Windows 10. Wait for a while for the system to automatically log in.


For an overall effect



Let's see what the power is at this time.


The power when mining is not started is 612w.



After entering the system, we look at the desktop. Panda Miner has basically prepared all the necessary software.

Mining software eth, zcash, mining steps, teamViewer 12 remote control software, GPU-Z graphics card identification tool, 360 browser


Let's use GPU-Z to check the graphics card information.


After GPU-Z is opened, click on the graphics card list in the lower left corner. You can see 8 Radeon(TM) RX 480 graphics cards and one built-in graphics card, Intel HD Graphics.


Let’s take a look at the configuration of this mining machine:

ETH mining test


Now we are going to start testing mining. Open the mining steps.txt file on the desktop and take a look.



1. Right-click the desktop "A1.bat" file to edit, and the following command line will appear


EthDcrMiner64.exe -mode 1 -epool eth.f2pool.com:8008 -ewal 0xa51d11bbf2a9aae355fd6f9a5b1b14e1404572c2 -epsw x -eworker AM240 -dbg -1


Modify your receiving wallet and modify the mining pool information if necessary. Save after modification.


2. Double-click to run "A1.bat".


The file contains the ETH mining method. I changed the wallet address. I applied for a new wallet address. I applied on Yunbi but failed. It said there were no available addresses. Then I went to P.net to apply for one.


After configuration, follow the instructions and double-click A1.bat to run mining



The running interface is as shown above. Panda Miner uses a third-party mining software. It can be seen that 8 Radeon RX 480 graphics cards are recognized. It will wait for about 1 minute here. It may be that the mining software is initializing something.

After a while, the software started mining



We can see that the software receives the task issued by the mining pool, and the software submits the result to the mining pool. The total computing power of the mining machine is about 225Mh/s, and the computing power of each graphics card is



The mining machine is running stably for a while. Let's take a look at the power consumption of the mining machine at this time.



The mining machine power is maintained at around 1308W, which is consistent with the official data.


After the mining machine has been running for 1 hour, let's test the temperature of the mining machine's air outlet:



The highest temperature at the air outlet is 44.5 degrees Celsius, and the cooling effect of the mining machine is very good.


Let's measure the noise.


The noise level of the mining machine was tested at a distance of about 1 meter and the value was 71.7 decibels.


60 decibels at 5 meters away, more than 50 decibels will affect your rest, it will definitely be very noisy in your home office


After 12 hours of testing, the hashrate curve is as follows:




The average computing power is around 225Mh/s, which is very stable and consistent with the official data.
