Bitcoin store sales surge 300% as Bitcoin market value rises to boost consumer spending

Golden Finance News - After Bitcoin became a new payment method, many stores in the world began to try to accept this popular cryptocurrency because it is convenient, fast, and has good privacy protection features.

In addition to accepting Bitcoin payments in traditional businesses, some Bitcoin supporters have even opened Bitcoin stores. As the name suggests, these are stores that only accept Bitcoin to purchase goods.

In 2015, Stephen Mackill founded the first Bitcoin store in New Zealand, and his store became the first store to accept Bitcoin payments online, called Amagi Metals. Mackill is a member of the New Zealand Bitcoin and Blockchain Association and is passionate about Bitcoin.

“When we added the Bitcoin Store to our portal, we wanted to provide the community with a fun store where you can buy goods with Bitcoin while maintaining your privacy. That’s what you get when you visit our Bitcoin Store. We are excited to provide you with a place where you can buy quality goods that represent the Bitcoin cultural phenomenon.”

In 2017, the Bitcoin store had a fantastic start, with sales in the first quarter 300% higher than in 2016. Mackill said that the skyrocketing prices of Bitcoin and many competing coins have increased the value of people's assets, and quite a few people who like art have bought a lot of high-priced goods.

One of the featured artists whose works are for sale on the Bitcoin Store is Montreal-based painter Guy Hamelin. Guy Hamelin’s beautiful works can be found on the Bitcoin Store.

Another popular artist that Mackill showcases in the store is Satoshi Gallery, whose artwork blends pop culture with crypto concepts.

“In addition to a vibrant art section, The Bitcoin Store has a ton of areas to cater to everyone’s needs. This includes men’s, women’s and children’s apparel, coffee mugs, soaps, stickers, phone cases and more. The best part is that all of our items have a Bitcoin or crypto-related theme.”
