Ganzhou Economic Development Zone investigates and regulates virtual currency

Recently, the Anti-Non-Proliferation Office of Ganzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, together with the Ganzhou Branch of the People's Bank of China, the Financial Office of the Municipal Government, the District Public Security Bureau, and the District Market Supervision Bureau, went to Hengke Industrial Park and the International Enterprise Center to carry out special inspections and rectification work to crack down on virtual currency mining and trading activities.

In order to further prevent and control the risks of virtual currency mining and trading speculation, protect the property safety of the people, and enhance self-protection capabilities, Ganzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone organized this special investigation and rectification.

At the inspection site, staff conducted risk inspections and rectifications on companies in the park by visiting the company's internal settings, verifying business licenses, questioning company employees, checking company business, and issuing risk warning letters.

In the next step, the Economic Development Zone will strengthen publicity and education, and through typical case analysis, investment risk education and other methods, publicize to the public the illegality, harmfulness and manifestations of virtual currency speculation and other related business activities, so as to enhance the public's awareness of risk prevention.
