ASRock's new motherboard supports 13 graphics cards: for mining Bitcoin

IT Home reported on July 10 that multi-channel graphics cards were usually only an option for high-end gamers before, and high-end graphics cards were not widely used due to their high prices. However, with the emergence of mining (Bitcoin and other digital currencies) in recent years, they have basically become familiar to everyone. Installing multiple graphics cards on the same motherboard can significantly improve efficiency and reduce costs, which is also one of the reasons why mining farms use them.

A typical high-end motherboard will only have a maximum of 6 PCI-E slots and will only support a maximum of 8 graphics cards being used simultaneously in a Windows system. However, ASRock's H110 Pro BTC+ motherboard has removed the graphics card restrictions and will support a maximum of 13 graphics cards being used simultaneously.

Judging from the name, this board is obviously designed for mining. However, if the manufacturer wants to unleash the full potential of this board, it must be used under the Linux system to support 13 mining cards until Microsoft fixes the limit on the number of graphics cards under Windows.

The ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ motherboard is priced at US$140, which is quite expensive among motherboards with the H110 chipset. However, it is very cost-effective for Bitcoin players, whose value is comparable to that of gold.
