IT Home reported on August 6 that the WannaCry and Petya ransomware outbreaks in May and June this year had a huge impact, causing people to pay great attention to virus prevention. According to CCTV News, a new type of ransomware has recently reappeared on the Internet, and infected users have been blackmailed for Bitcoins. There is currently no effective way to crack it. According to monitoring by domestic security companies, a new type of ransomware virus spread through email attachments appeared in China in early August. Analysis shows that the virus came from overseas and disguised itself as invoices and receipts to trick people into clicking on them. When the JS or VBS script in the attachment is run, the virus will start, encrypt computer data, and tamper with the suffix 725 or 726. The virus uses a high-intensity encryption method and there is currently no effective way to crack it. After the computer is infected with the virus, the user will be asked to pay a ransom of 0.18 bitcoins, about 3,500 yuan. If the ransom is not paid within 48 hours, the ransom will be doubled. To prevent viruses, experts recommend not to open attachments in unknown emails, and not to accept or click on executable programs or unknown software such as exe and scr sent by instant messaging software or email. |
