This week, the Bitcoin options market is expected to have 114,700 contracts expire, with a notional value of over $1 billion

According to BlockBeats, despite the light spot trading in the past two months, the volume of Bitcoin (BTC) derivatives continues to grow. According to data provided by crypto derivatives research company Skew, 114,700 options contracts (with a nominal value of more than $1 billion) will expire on June 26, including major trading platforms such as Deribit, CME, Bakkt, OKEx, and LedgerX.

“This is definitely the largest bitcoin options expiry (so far),” said Vishal Shah, an options trader and founder of Alpha5, a derivatives trading platform backed by Polychain Capital.
