Jiang Yang of the China Securities Regulatory Commission inspected Canaan Creative: I hope you will be listed in the country

Canaan Creative is the second largest mining machine manufacturer in China. It invented China's first Bitcoin mining machine - "Avalon". Since its establishment in 2013, it has been manufacturing Bitcoin "mining" machines and developing chips in the fields of blockchain and artificial intelligence. In more than four years, this "small workshop" founded by a few technology geeks has now become an internationally renowned chip company.

On April 24, Jiang Yang, Vice Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and his delegation visited Canaan Creative accompanied by Shao Xiangrong, Director of the Hangzhou Branch of Tsinghua Yangtze River Delta Research Institute. They were received by Kong Jianping, Co-Chairman of Canaan Creative, and Tu Songhua, Director of Public Affairs.

Kong Jianping reported to Vice Chairman Jiang Yang and his delegation on Canaan Creative's chip research and development, focusing on the application of blockchain computing chips in the field of Bitcoin mining and the application scenarios of artificial intelligence chips.

Vice Chairman Jiang asked questions related to the core technology of chips and inquired and discussed the "ZTE incident."

After learning about the details of the company's A-share mergers and acquisitions in 2016 and its latest listing plan, Vice Chairman Jiang Yang said, "No matter what your chips are used for, you are still a chip company in essence. I hope you can go public in China."

Vice Chairman Jiang Yang also listened to Kong Jianping's suggestions on the CSRC's issuance work. He said: "It is normal to not understand new technologies, new industries and new models. Such enterprises are growing explosively. If you really understand them, they would have taken off long ago, so our issuance work still needs to be improved."
