Verge Coin (XVG) Mining Tutorial

VergeCurrency, referred to as: XVG, solves the anonymity problem through multiple anonymous center networks and has high anonymity. At the same time, Verge supports scrypt, X17, lyra2rev2, MYR groestl, blake2s multi-algorithm mining, and people with different types of mining machines can obtain this currency through mining.

F2Pool has opened the XVG mining pool of Blake2s algorithm, and miners can mine through the Blake2s algorithm software. Currently, this algorithm mainly supports mining with graphics card mining machines.

The following is an introduction on how to use a graphics card to dual mine XVG.

1. Mining with A-Card

Download the mining software for A card: Claymore's dual mining software, unzip it, and find the "start" file, as shown in the figure below.

Right-click the file and select "Edit". After opening, edit the following command line:

ETH+XVG dual mining:

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth.f2pool.com:8008 -ewal 钱包地址-eworker 矿工号-epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://xvg-blake2s.f2pool.com:9008 -dwal 钱包地址.矿工号-dpsw x -mode 0 -dcoin blake2s -dcri 20

ETC+XVG dual mining:

[Special Note]: When mining XVG, you need to add the parameter " -dcoin " and call the " blake2s " algorithm.

Just replace your own wallet address, and after confirming that the mining pool and other related information are correct, save the "start" document and start "start" to start mining. The successful mining interface is shown in the figure below:

2. Nvidia Card Mining

N cards can use ccminer or claymore to mine. If you use the claymore version of the mining software, the setting method is the same as that of the A card, which is also dual mining ETH and XVG. I will not introduce it in detail.

[Special note]: When running ccminer on N-card mining machines, CUDA version 9.0 or above is required.

When running claymore, the following versions of CUDA are used: 8.0, 9.1, 7.5, 6.5

If you use ccminer software for single mining, the settings are as follows:

Download the "ccminer" mining software, decompress it, and find the "start" file, as shown in the figure below.

Right-click the "start" file, select "Edit", and after opening it, fill in the following command line:

ccminer-x64 -a blake2s -o stratum+tcp://xvg-blake2s.f2pool.com:9008 -u 钱包地址.矿工号-px

After replacing your own wallet address, save the file and run the "start" file to start mining. The running interface of successful mining should be as shown below:

3. How to check revenue and mining machines

Visit the official website of F2Pool: https://www.f2pool.com, click the search icon in the upper right corner, enter the wallet address set in the mining software, and click "View", as shown below:

You can view the mining machine operation status and daily income.

4. How to set the startup method

Add the mining software to the startup items, and it will start automatically when the machine restarts. The specific method is as follows:

Right-click the mining software you want to run and select "Create Shortcut". Then paste this shortcut to the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp folder. (The ProgramData folder is a hidden file and you need to select Show hidden folders in "View" to view it)

The settings are now complete. The next time you restart your computer, the mining software will start automatically.
