US student transforms dorm into Bitcoin mining factory

According to CNBC, a student named Patrick Cines from Pennsylvania State University has transformed his dormitory into a makeshift Bitcoin mining factory. Cines said he is using a modified computer and several graphics cards to mine in his dormitory, but the problems he faces are high electricity bills and hacker attacks. |
